welcome!

My Mother always recommended to write out my feelings. So I have been in a journal for years. I’ve been writing “blogs” and book reviews in a hardcover journal for as long as I can remember. Everything I’ve felt, thought, or heard has been written down or drawn in an abundance of journals I keep close to my heart. Sometimes I write like a mad man with no storyline or purpose, or sometimes I write like I’m the next Shakespeare. Yet no matter what I write, it helps me.

So now that I have a platform where I can hopefully share my stories and progress with others to benefit them as well, I’ve been ecstatic. So I sat down and researched “how to start a blog” and here we are. Welcome to Beyond Hues!

I started my art business at sixteen years old, and once you start a business at a young age you realize there’s very few of you. I barely found anything about how to start a business while being a high schooler. Most of the time I’d see people quitting their 9-5 to start a business at a later age, and was confused on how to apply it to myself. So I wrote down all my experiences and advice I would’ve wanted when I first started. Seven months later I’m posting all these experiences to the public to hopefully show that no matter your age, experience, whatever, you can start a business.

At the moment, I plan on posting at least one blog post a month, maybe even two with a book review in between. My blogs will be attached to my monthly newsletter, along with new posts on my social medias. I cannot wait to get started! Feels like I finally got my big kid shoes haha!

See you soon!
